Public Enemies Review

Great directing,great cast,great screenplay,what do you get?Great movie.Last night,i went to see Public Enemy.Wanting to see a great movie and i wasn't disappointed.
The Actors:First off,we got Johnny Depp,a great actor for me,he play his role to the fullest,i wouldn't have chosen someone better to play the part of John Dillinger.Chirstian Bale as Melvin Purvis, how can you go wrong,Bale always knows how to play the character he has to play so no disappointment in this one.And those two actors followed by a great supporting cast such as Stephen Dorff,David Wenham and many more.
The Plot:Seriously i get pretty tired of hollywood not having enough imagination to create a movie that is not based on a true story, but this movie was a great true story, simple but interesting.
The Directing:The movie had that old feel to it and that's what made it good.Sometimes some action scene felt like a documentary, the sound of the guns were so real to the camera and the way it was filmed had that real feel to it.There is nothing to complain about, the director made a great choice with his actors and everything.
The Score/Soundtrack:With those old school music, you can't go wrong.Whenever nothing was happening, there was some old school music in the background, just some smooth relaxing old school.Really great.
All Of It:So how much for this movie?i give it an 8.5/10.It wasn't what i was expecting but it was still great.I was expecting better but i wasn't disappointed.I think this movie was on point on every scene. There was the one scene,John (Depp) talking to Melvin (Bale) in the prison cell reminded me of The Dark knight,Joker talking to Batman,so i find that Depp and Bale have a great chemistry together.I hope he will be apart of Batman Three.
