After 8 Mile & Get Rich Or Die Trying,why not make the story of one of the best.The inspirational movie about one of the greatest rapper of all time.The Notorious B.I.G..I went to see the movie Notorious last night.Me being a Hip Hop head,I'm sure I'll like it,and I did.
The Actors:The only movie played by this actor and he killed it.Jamal Woolard did one of the best Biggie,even tho it's the only biggie movie
.But he was very great and true,me who wasn't listening to rap at the time biggie was still alive,Jamal made me fell like i was really in the era of the movie,felt like I was in Biggie's life.And it was great.Derek Luke did a great job,me I don't think about what other actor that could play a role,me i just see if the actor goes well and he did a great Puff Daddy a.k.a Diddy.Naturi Naughton was very believable while playing Lil Kim,the sexy,street girl.She did the role very well.Anthony Mackie i didn't find that he really look like Pac but it was still great and believable.Antonique Smith did a great role,act very well.Angela Bassett did a great role,couldn't chose someone better.The Plot:Based on a true inspirational story,this was one great movie.Nothing special just the life of a drug dealer in the Bronx working hard to get a record deal and make money.
The Directing:This movie had it all gangster action,romance,comedy.Like i said i felt i was in the movie's era,and not only because of the actor's but they directing was very great and well made,Believable.The soundtrack is a very great one,with some great songs.The director choice for the actors was very well made.Not a spoiler because this is a true story,at the end biggie dies and the funeral almost made me cry,normally i don't cry but me being a Hip Hop head,this movie was very touching to me,and the end was sad.
All Of It:I gave it an 8.5/10 for normal people but for Hip Hop Head that loves Biggie,i give it an 9.5/10.This movie was very well made,i didn't see no flaws.The Actors,the production was very well made and chose.One last thing to say R.I.P B.I.G.
