When i first saw the trailer for this movie,i taught it would be another teen action movie.But suprisingly this was not,this was a really good movie.Sure there was (teenagers in love looks and the cheesy teenager's lines),but still this movie was pretty adult.By saying this i'm saying this isn' a movie for teen only but for everybody.
THE FIGHTS:The fights were the best thing in the movie,if there was no fight i'd say this movie is for teens only.The fights looked so realistic,the kick were on point,the falls were good and you could feel the pain of the person getting hit.But everybody went to see this movie to see the fights so if they were bad this woudn't even be called a movie.
THE CHARACTERS:I'd say the best acter in this movie was Cam Gigandet,he was perfect for his character,The mean bad guy/popular in school.Sean Faris wasn't that impressive just another pretty boy in a movie trying to become popular(in the movie).Last but not least Amber Heard the pretty/popular school girl who hits on the new guy.But the acters could act,i've seen a lot of whorse movies.trust me.
THE PLOT:Just the typical plot,a new guy(sean faris) changes school,needs to learn how to act in the new school if he wanna survive.There's the top one of the school (cam gigandet) who gets what he wants,when he wants,where he wants.Nothing special in that,even the script wasn't that impressive.
ALL IN TOGETHER NOW:I would give this movie a 8/10,cause it don't deserve a 9,not good enought but doesn't deserve a 7,cause a 7 is just above the minimum.And i think this movie was more better then the minimum.But without the fights this movie would definatly be a 6.But if you wanna see the fight,don't go on youtube and type never back down fights cause that's gonna be stupid.You gotta get in the characters,get to know what there fighting for,or the fights will just look stupid.So Yes i recommend this movie,on a saturday night with friends or girlfriend.But i would wait for the DVD to come out for sure.
