I can't even remember what was the last superhero movie I reviewed but I bet it was completely different from "Kick Ass".For people who don't know (cause me I didn't),Kick Ass is a movie based on the Kick Ass comic book.Since I've seen the trailer,I wanted to go see this movie.Lets see if it was worth the wait !
The Actors:A not too big actor,Aaron Johnson,plays Kick-Ass.I really liked him,being not to popular this made the movie unique.His acting was great,wouldn't ask for another actor.I loved Clark Duke & Evan Peters has his best friends,every scene with them was funny.The lines they said were a bit vulgar but it was so on point that it was hilarious !Lyndsy Fonseca was so beautiful,you could just sit threw the whole movie just to watch her.I was a bit disappointed by Christopher Mintz-Plasse,sure he was funny in some part but still you got to compare him to "McLovin",and compared to that he wasn't that funny.Mark Strong was the perfect enemy in this movie.This guy is a bad guy by birth!I adored Chloe Moretz has Hit Girl,a young innocent looking girl but can do really mean things.Loved her!!!Nicolas Cage did a great performance,nothing to crazy but he didn't disappoint.
The Plot:A young comic book fan thinks that superheroes should exist.So he decides to become one,but when you have no powers and no money,what do you do to save people.Well,you put on a costume and a mask and do your best to kick some asses !
The Directing:I absolutely love the directing in this movie.The action scenes were intense.My favorite ones were Big Daddy and Hit Girl killing scenes,just perfect!When you see the movie you will see why.
All Of It:I give this movie an 8.5/10.The scene were funny,the jokes were funny.Nothing was used to much and everything was new and fresh.But it doesn't get a higher rating because I was a little bit disappointed,I thought it would have been better than this.I'm telling you go see this movie in theater.
