Last night,I finally got to see the movie Inglourious Basterds.Ever since I saw the trailer I knew i had to see this movie the first day it came out,but things came so I didn't have the time.But this weekend,Sunday,I finally went to see this movie.One week later,on a Sunday screening at 10 o'clock.I tough the room would be -not empty,but less people-.But no i guess no one had the time like me because there was a lot of people in the room.So today,I get to say my word about this movie.
The Actors:Well of course we will start with Mr. Pitt playing the lieutenant of the Inglorious Basterd's clan.Very Very believable,people saying were seeing to much of Brad Pitt,well there is a reason for that and it's because he is a good actor.If you disagree just tell me why on the comments,but i don't see a reason to desagree.When he does a role,he really does the work necessary to fit that role.And that scar on his neck was just the cream of the crop.Mélanie Laurent playing the main french woman.(If you haven't seen the movie,multiple story are happening at the same time and Miss Laurent is the main character of one).Like i was saying Miss Laurent did a great job performing he role as a Jew.The fury,the passion and the hate was here,i couldn't say it clearer.Christoph Waltz being the main bad guy in this movie,did a great job for a "Jew hunter" and he did really act they way the Nazi acted when talking to Jews,calm,peaceful until he gets the answer he wants,nailed it.Eli Roth appeared here and there but when he appeared it was ether funny or you know something crazy was about to happen,and i liked that,his face had that special something.Daniel Brühl playing a second main character,uhh,that's the guy every time you see him you want to slap him in the face,again he just has that special something on his face but this time,it's bad for him.Til Schweiger,the machine killer,that look in his eyes,one word : DEADLY,perfect for the role.B.J. Novak mostly known for the office,has also that special face,but this guy it's for laughing.Omar Doom ,like B.J Novak,he doesn't appear much but when he does...comedy people.The rest of the cast not to important but also did a great job,good choice for picking each roles.
The Plot:Well there multiple stories happening at the same time so except the one you saw on the trailers about the Inglourious Basterds killing the Nazi,there not really that much.But the Basterds are just one part of the movie.
The Directing:How can you go wrong with Quarantino.You get what you think you will get,the action,the stupid comedy,the gore.E-ve-ry-thing is in that movie.Sensible people please to not go see it if after you're gonna batch it.You know Quarantino,don't expect less from him.He brings it every time,even if you like it or not.He does his thing and he is unique in it.
All Of It:I would give this movie an 8.5/10.Well it cannot be ten,because those kind of movies cannot be ten.Only a masterpiece can be ten.Not a 9 because it was missing that special something to make it even better then the other movies out there.I know it's better then most of what's out there now.But still,didn't make it.So yes i would recommend it on THEATER OR RENT OR EVEN BUY.
