Shutter Island Review

I LOVE THE TRAILER !!!!

The first time I saw the trailer,I knew this movie would be awesome.And as I leave the theater I was not disappointed.You might like the plot after seeing the trailer,but the movie has a BIGGER PLOT because of the ending !

The Actors:Leonardo DiCaprio who was playing detective Teddy Daniels was the principal character.I think he was perfect for his role,they were no bad moments in this movie.He made this movie what it was.One of his best performance.Mark Ruffalo played Chuck Aule,Leonardo's detective partner.I liked him in this movie,because of something that I can't tell or it's gonna tell you the ending,but he did it very well.Ben Kingsley who was playing Dr. Cawley was perfect for his role,you didn't know what to believe because of this guy and his crooked smile.The rest of the cast was also great but those three characters made the movie what it is.

The Plot :U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to still be hiding on Shutter Island since she has nowhere else to go.

The Directing:Martin Scorsese who made movies like Casino,Gangs Of New York,Goodfellas,The Aviator,The Departed,is respected in the business.We can't except less from him then this magnificent classic that he just created.Because of the directing this movie may seem like an horror/suspense type of movie but it totally isn't.The mood makes it seem like this but the movie doesn't scare you at any point.The directing of this movie was insane,in a good way!The music was intense but it was just intense enough.Because of the directing there is not even one way for you to think of the ending even tho all the clues are there to see it.

All Of It:I give this movie an 9.5/10.I was never disinterested,It keep me believing until the very end where I still can't tell what is what and what I should believe.It's rare that you see movie with an ending like this.So when you see them you got to respect them.This movie will leave you guessing the whole time.And all the plot holes are answered at the end.Well it's your choice to believe or not ! SEE AT THEATER

Legion Review

The first time I saw the trailer for Legion I was interested.I am a christian but that doesn't mean that my mind is close on the bible's theory.So having a movie like this,I wondered what could it have!Plus the way the angel,the directing,the action in the trailer looked like,it seemed like a good movie.So I saw it last night,the theater wasn't full but the crowd was bigger then I thought it would be.

The Actors:Paul Bettany did a great job for main character.I like his face,he was the right actor to play this role.Lucas Black,what bugged me about him,the whole start of the movie,I was wondering in what other movie he played in.He is easy to recognize but he isn't big enough yet for you to easily remember his movies.And we had Tyresse Gibson,Dennis Quaid & Kate Walsh for really known actors.I will have to say that I enjoyed everyone's performance in this movie.

The Plot:God has lost faith in the human race so he send his angels to exterminate us!

The Directing:The movie was well made.The small comedy lines,the action,everything was actually good,a good movie to watch.

All Of It:I give this movie an 7.5/10.I wasn't good enough for a 8/10 but I wasn't disappointed by the movie that's why it gets a 7.5.I didn't go to see this movie expecting a great Hollywood/Micheal Bay type of movie.It was well made,keep me interested during the whole move and I liked it.So maybe not go see it at the THEATER but go RENT IT !

The Book Of Eli Review

Everybody knows that Denzel Washington is one of the great black actors!He never comes bad in a movie.But does Denzel makes this movie a new classic?

The Actors:Denzel Washington was the main character,he acted very well like usual.Mila Kunis is the second main character appearing in the middle of the movie,she also did a good job.Gary Oldman as the enemy was a normal actor,mainly become he didn't appear much.But the cast was good.

The Plot:After a big worlwide event,a normal man is traveling all across america with a mysterious book that could change everybody's life.But you know what the book is about at half of the movie.Kind of ruined it.

The Directing:The movie was well made.The action,the clothing and the background was great!

All of It:Disappointing but true,I have to give this movie an 7/10.I'm sorry even Denzel couldn't save this movie.There was something missing,it was always the same thing.Walking,arrives to town,fight and that's it.There was a good ending but after realizing that you've watched all this movie just for this ending,it was a little bit disappointing.I would NOT recommend it on THEATER,it would RENT IT.Kind of disappointing from Denzel.
